Difficulty: Easy 2 KM Hike
Super easy and small hike. More like a walk in the mountain
The trail is very well marked and you can explore each one of the 7 forts. Some parts are a bit steep, so take it easy. It’s a fun trail not only for dogs but also for kids, and since it’s such a small distance you can pair that with other activities in the area (we highly recommend to go check the nearby Al Hayl Castle).
You can park next to the flag park, but please be aware that dogs are not allowed in it, even if the grass looks awesome and they really want to go. Be aware of the rules
Winters are for nice good hikes and a time for exploring more of the UAE. We have another pet friendly hike shared by our friends Mena & Ginger for you to try out.
